This organisation is large multi-national pharma business with a wide range of recognisable products. As part of the c.$50 million subsidiary in Australia you will join a team focused and pragmatic organisation with a strong focus on people. This business has experience over 20% YOY growth and has plans to acquire further businesses in the next 18 months to add to the group and growth plans.
Job Description
Within this role you run the finance function and manage a small team of accountants and analysts who will support you in completion of the following responsibilities:
FP&A & Business Partnering
- Be a key business partner to the CFO, IT, HR, Sales, Marketing and Operations teams
- Analyse the monthly P&L with full commentary of budget vs forecast
- Take the lead of the full consolidated budget for the group and rolling forecasts
- Instil a ROI culture and provide meaningful commercial analysis that will influence decision support via channel and project to drive revenue
- In charge of delivery of required financial reporting
Management Accounting
- Take the lead on all financial related KPI's, revenue, OPEX and CAPEX related duties
- Full ownership of the purchasing process (including purchase requests) and take initiative on cost saving plans
- Drive process improvement and set up necessary procedures in line with HQ requirements
Accounting, Tax & Audit
- Take the lead of the annual audit
- Ensure accurate submission of tax (FBT, GST, BAS)
- Hands on work with the team when required (GL entries, journals etc)
Team Management
- Coach and develop existing team ensuring they meet team and individual goals
The Successful Applicant
- CA/CPA or equivalent
- Experience working in a FMCG or Pharmaceutical organisation
- Working in a small/medium sized business with full experience in accounting, tax, audit, FP&A and management accounting
- Curious and open-minded personality
- Strong communication skills
- Experience using large ERP's
- Strong excel skills
