Critical Leadership role

Armaguard have provided reliable, secure currency management solutions to Australian businesses since 1938. In recent years the company have evolved and diversified to become the leading currency management service provider with growth both locally and internationally.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer this critical leadership role is responsible for providing financial advice to business units and to manage all aspects of financial and management accounting for Armaguard Group. You will lead teams across Cash Management, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Internal Audit, Asset Accounting, Payroll and Accounts Receivable. Additionally, you will partner with the CFO to complete M&A activities including financial modelling, investment analysis and due diligence. This role is also pivotal to driving continuous improvement and change, ensuring maximum efficiency across the organisation.
The Successful Applicant
CA or CPA qualified you will ideally have started your career in Audit before progressing into a Commercial role. Those applicants with experience in transport and/or manufacturing related industries within complex, multi-entity international businesses will be highly regarded. In addition to this, you will have exposure to consolidations, statutory and financial reporting and be a natural problem solver with a proactive and solution orientated approach. You will have strong management skills and the ability to lead and develop a large and diverse team, inspiring and championing best practice, innovation and change across the wider group.
