About Our Client

A proud Australian business, our client has recently been acquired by a Private Equity Firm and is now seeking to strengthen its financial reporting and management accounting function with this new hire.

Job Description

Reporting into the CFO, this role will manage the qualified and transactional finance team, whilst being responsible for:

  • Management of month end close
  • Weekly reporting
  • Financial analysis and modelling
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Cashflow management and reporting
  • Preparation of year end financial statements

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have a strong background working as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller within a commercial environment. Key traits will also include:

  • CA/CPA Qualified
  • Prior people leadership experience
  • Manufacturing or FMCG industry knowledge (desired)
  • Ability to lead and drive a growing finance function
  • Strong attention to detail and systems knowledge
