We are seeking a skilled and personable FP&A Analyst to join one of Australia's largest and most respected retailers on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support budgeting, forecasting, and project spend analysis, while working closely with project managers to deliver timely and accurate insights.

About Our Client

Our client is a well-known and much-loved ASX-listed retailer, recognised for its strong brand presence and customer loyalty. Following an internal promotion, they are seeking a talented FP&A Analyst to join their Planning & Reporting team. This role will focus on delivering high-quality reporting, forecasting, and analysis across project spend, including both CAPEX and OPEX.

Job Description

  • Provide reporting, forecasting, and analysis on project spend (CAPEX and OPEX).
  • Support the Finance team with ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.
  • Support the annual Corporate Plan, budget, and forecast processes.
  • Provide support to the Finance team with ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.
  • Drive process improvements in financial reporting and capital planning.
  • Assist with quarterly board papers and Day 4 pack.
  • Maintain records of all capital expenditure proposals.
  • Partner with parent company FP&A team for forecasting and reporting.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be:

  • A strong background in financial analysis and planning within the retail industry.
  • CA/CPA
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tool.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
