Our client is Melbourne's largest independent specialist homelessness organisation, passionately committed to ending homelessness. Through housing, support, education, employment services, advocacy, and fundraising, they deliver solutions at scale and places clients at the centre of everything they do.

The Fundraising & Philanthropy team plays a critical role in enabling this work by building and maintaining strong relationships with supporters and donors across the community.

Job Description



Customer Service & Administration

  • Provide timely, accurate administrative support to the fundraising team
  • Manage supporter correspondence and inboxes, responding professionally and efficiently
  • Process donations, donor receipts, and commitments accurately
  • Maintain up‑to‑date and accurate records within the CRM system (Dynamics 365)
  • Liaise with finance and internal teams to ensure accurate recording and reporting
  • Uphold a warm, donor‑centric approach that reinforces trust and long‑term support



Donor Engagement Support

  • Support relationship managers with preparation for donor meetings and visits
  • Assist in coordinating a structured visitation plan for key donors
  • Prepare briefing materials including donor profiles, agendas, impact updates, and information packs
  • Support follow‑up actions post‑meetings, ensuring timely communication and documentation
  • Liaise closely with teams across multiple Launch Housing sites to coordinate activity smoothly



Collaboration & Organisational Contribution

  • Build positive working relationships across teams and sites
  • Contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and values‑driven workplace
  • Handle confidential information with care and discretion
  • Support continuous improvement and take a proactive approach to workload management

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous experience in a not‑for‑profit and/or fundraising environment
  • CRM experience (non‑negotiable) - Dynamics 365 experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, organised approach and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confidence working with multiple stakeholders across different sites

  • Part‑time: 3 days per week (9:00am-5:00pm, flexibility available)
  • Hybrid working model:
    • 2 days in the office (ideally Monday & Thursday)
    • 1 day working from home
