This is a senior, highly commercial General Counsel position, for a lawyer who thrives in live deal environments, understands investment structures, and enjoys operating in a fast‑moving, founder‑led ecosystem.The General Counsel will act as the central legal authority across the group, owning complex transactional matters while building internal capability and selectively leveraging external advisers where required.

Job Description

· Act as Group General Counsel, providing strategic legal support to the CEO and portfolio CEOs across multiple operating businesses and investment platforms

· Lead and execute legal work on private equity and real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, financings, refinancings and restructurings

· Design, implement and maintain investment, holding and corporate structures across jurisdictions, working closely with finance, tax and external advisers

· Provide commercial, solution‑oriented legal advice on day‑to‑day and strategic matters, enabling growth while managing legal and reputational risk

· Manage and coordinate external legal advisers globally, retaining strategic oversight while controlling quality, cost and timelines

· Support funding activities, capital raises, debt structuring and M&A, partnering closely with senior leadership and investment teams

The Successful Applicant

· Qualified lawyer with 10+ years' experience, including top‑tier law firm training and exposure to investment‑led or complex in‑house environments

· Strong private equity and real estate transactional background, covering acquisitions, disposals, JV structures, financings and restructurings

· Experience with fund and holding‑company structuring across jurisdictions such as Luxembourg, Cayman, UK, US and similar international markets

· Comfortable advising on funding, debt, M&A and corporate governance, working closely with finance and senior leadership

· Proven ability to manage cross‑border matters and external counsel, retaining strategic oversight while controlling cost and quality
