Reporting into the GM of Sales and Marketing, the Head of Marketing will directly manage a team of 10 marketing professionals. This is a category structured team, which is focused on making a positive impact on growth in both the Australian and international markets. As the marketing lead, you will be tasked with shaping the marketing strategy and developing the cross-functional marketing team.
With full P&L management, this role plays a pivotal part in achieving SPC's strategic business plan so you will be required to lead and deliver category growth. You will be joining SPC's Sales Marketing and Innovation team and will be required to help with the vision and strategy for the business unit. SPC are looking for someone who is going to be able to challenge the status quo and bringing to life new innovations. This is a fast-paced business that is eager to see change. This is an end-to-end marketing role that requires a strong marketer with proven marketing and leadership experience. SPC is looking for a people leader who is passionate about their team and has proven success in building and developing multi-functional teams. Someone who can engage the team and drive their development.
Critical to the success of this role will be the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders. We are looking for someone who has fresh ideas and can bring with them a new way of thinking.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate for the Head of Marketing role, will be a proven leader in FMCG Marketing, who has a strong track record in ATL marketing and category management. To be successful in this role you will need;
- At least 10 years in FMCG brand marketing
- Proven track record in leading people and developing high performing teams
- Strong commercial acumen and category management
- Ability to deliver NPD quickly, from concept to execution
- Excellent stakeholder management across cross functional teams
- Experience in managing complex P&Ls and portfolios of products
- An entrepreneurial marketer that is able to think outside of the box and be an agent for change
- Experience in launching products in Asian markets would be an advantage
- A senior marketing professional who is excited to join a values based FMCG business in a transition phase - who can make their mark.
