Job Description

  • Align the product portfolio strategy for multiple products with the overall business objectives of the company
  • Take business requirements, gather industry insights, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement the product roadmap
  • Manage business stakeholders and ensure that the product vision aligns with the needs of end users and the overall business vision
  • Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and gather business feedback to inform product decisions and enhancements
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Monitor key product metrics, such as user engagement, adoption rates, and customer satisfaction
  • Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize product performance and meet business objectives
  • Review business cases for proposed projects and track and communicate the realized value
  • Coach, mentor, and guide the team in accordance with values, policies, and procedures

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors of Engineering in one of the disciplines (Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Chemical or Software)
  • A minimum of 12+ years of experience, with a preference for at least 3 years in the manufacturing industry
  • Solid experience in delivering all stages of the project and software development life cycle, preferably within a digital transformation context
  • Demonstrated track record of working with various products, specifically in the area of Industrial Automation and Control
  • Possess a formal project management qualification, such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Project Management
  • Proven understanding of agile tools and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Proficient in drawing storyboards, creating wireframes, grooming product backlogs, writing user stories, and developing acceptance criteria
  • Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams encompassing technology, business, and design
  • Experience in working with design teams to deliver optimal user experience (UX) and user interface (UI)
  • Demonstrable experience in managing a diverse change portfolio with concurrent initiatives
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or other similar tools
