Our client operates within the resources sector and supports a mix of corporate and site-based teams across WA. With a focus on safety, performance, and employee experience, they are seeking an HR Advisor to provide day-to-day support across their growing workforce.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Advisor operates within the HR department supporting both corporate and onsite business operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing advice on HR policies, procedures, and best‑practice people management
  • Managing and supporting employee relations matters, including investigations and performance processes
  • Coordinating end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding
  • Supporting learning, development, and capability initiatives
  • Assisting with workforce planning and organisational development activities
  • Preparing HR documentation, reports, and maintaining employee records
  • Contributing to culture, wellbeing, and inclusion programs
  • Supporting continuous improvement across HR processes and systems

The Successful Applicant

You are a confident communicator who can build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation. You're solutions focused, resilient, and comfortable navigating a broad range of HR activities.We're looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Management, or a related business discipline
  • Experience working in a generalist HR Advisor (or similar) role
  • In‑depth knowledge of employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act (FWA), Enterprise Agreements, and company policies, with the ability to translate these into practical, compliant advice
  • Well‑developed interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and coach stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
