Job Description

  • Provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and managers.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to support business objectives.
  • Manage employee relations, ensuring compliance with workplace legislation and company policies.
  • Support performance management processes and provide coaching to managers.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to deliver training and development programs.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that align with the organisation's goals.
  • Assisting with the payroll department.

The Successful Applicant

  • A relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 1 year previous experience in a HR role (within the retail industry is advantageous).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in HR systems (Workday is essential) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail.
