Job Description

  • Processing payroll for approximately 150 employees from start to finish
  • Onboarding new starters and processing terminations
  • Manage recruitment process across the business
  • Preparation and lodgement of PayrollTax and Superannuation
  • Maintenance of payroll system data
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and queries
  • Various other duties as required
  • Assisting in the induction and training of new hires.
  • Drafting employment contracts and other HR correspondence.
  • Updating job descriptions, organisation charts, HR manuals and other documents.
  • Assisting with Exit Interviews and coordinating the end of employment process.
  • Providing current and prospective employees with information regarding WHS and employment regulation, policies, job requirements, working conditions, remuneration and employee benefits.
  • Investigating grievances, writing disciplinary documentation and conducting meetings where necessary in coordination with Retail Manager



The Successful Applicant

  • End to end HR life cycle knowledge
  • Knowledge of payroll processes, taxation, superannuation legislation
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to multi task and work within a fast faced environment
  • Competent Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A consultative approach towards managing effective relationships with staff and stakeholders
  • Ability to learn quickly and take on guidance from the team to bring you up to speed
  • Team player with a strong focus on teamwork and building relationships with workforce
  • Able to prioritise and work autonomously and as a team within deadlines
  • Sound interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid knowledge and ability to be able to interpret and provide advice on FWA, Enterprise Agreement, Polices & Procedures
