About Our Client
Our client is a small-medium sized organisation. They are actively recruiting a HR Officer on a 3 month contract basis to join their dynamic and flexible team.
Job Description
Reporting to the HR Manager, responsibilities include:
- End to end recruitment including; screen candidates for suitability, book interviews, in conjunction with the HR Manager to undertake interviews
- Liaise with recruitment agencies on progress of candidates and answer any questions
- Undertake reference checks on potential candidates
- Raise Weekly Purchase Orders number to Agencies for engaged workers
- Assist with employee relations
- Process all employee terminations
- Monthly updating of HR departures and new starters statistics including create tables, charts etc. at year end
- Manage the Employee Recommendation Incentive Scheme including monitoring eligibility, getting payments signed off by management, emailing payroll and employees, updating the HR database and issuing and buying vouchers
- Maintain the HR archive system
- Assist HR Manager wherever required
- Cover HR Manager duties whilst HR Manager is on annual leave/sick leave including answering emails
- Process and approve all purchase orders for HR, Operations Coordinator and Operations Administrator
- Approve weekly invoices and follow up on recruitment time sheet anomalies
The Successful Applicant
- Experience in a similar role with experience in recruitment is essential
- Ideally someone who has a HR Management or relevant degree or qualification
