We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive HR Officer who is eager to grow their career and take on increasing responsibility.This is a hands-on role covering the full employee cycle, payroll processing, HR processes and organisational objectives. Please note: This is a fully office-based role located in Richmond (no hybrid or remote work).

Job Description

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records
  • Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time for salaried and hourly employees
  • Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate and contribute to Learning & Development initiatives, training programs, and compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation, policies, and systems
  • Provide first-level HR advice and support to employees and managers
  • Assist with employment changes, performance documentation, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Assist with HR reporting and data management
  • Support workforce planning, rostering, and employment data analysis as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-3 years' experience in HR
  • Exposure to payroll processes and legislation
  • Strong willingness to learn payroll and expand technical HR knowledge
  • Highly proactive, eager, and comfortable taking ownership
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Flexible and open-minded approach to problem-solving
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
