About Our Client

Our client is an iconic WA business actively seeking a newly created HR & Learning Business Partner role. This is a permanent vacancy reporting directly into the GM of Human Resources.

Job Description

  • Guides and educates users in the performance review process
  • Provides coaching for managers in undertaking performance and performance improvement discussions
  • In conjunction with HR Business Partner - Performance undertakes learning needs analysis including competency and capability and future skills development
  • Determines best learning interventions to support capability/skill development
  • Implements and coordinates the annual L&D programme
  • Develops and implements career pathways including the annual graduate programme and leadership pathways framework
  • Adopts a wide range of learning methodologies with an emphasis on Action Learning
  • Supports change management processes and develops learning interventions to support change
  • Identifies key talent, supporting and monitoring their development progress
  • Coordinates diversity learning including needs analysis, partner selection and program delivery
  • Uses tools and analysis to predict and support the engagement of the right skills and resources to deliver to operational objectives
  • Supports and guides all change management initiatives
  • Undertakes impact analysis and stakeholder identification
  • Develops appropriate change plans and communication plans
  • Supports team members through times of change
  • Engages with external service providers (e.g. EAP service providers, consultancy services and legal partners) to ensure appropriate advice, guidance, support is available as required)
  • Communication and implementation of new policies, procedures etc
  • Aligns learning and development initiatives to support competency development
  • Ensure quality of content and delivery methods

The Successful Applicant

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR Management / Organisation Development or a related discipline
  • Experienced in delivering high quality HR/L&D Consultancy services within a complex, multidisciplinary business demonstrating an ability to contribute effectively and knowledgeably to business decisions
  • Knowledge and experience using modern People Management systems, techniques and technologies: engagement, performance management, culture, use of psychometric tools, change management techniques etc
  • Evidence of currency in thinking and practice relative to recent developments in people management best practices.
  • Exposure to development practices and tools including modern commercial competency frameworks to support capability development
