About Our Client
Our client is a well known international ASX mining business seeking an experienced HR Manager on a permanent basis to join their executive team.
Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager roles and responsibilities include:
- Coach, mentor and develop the HR team to support ongoing professional development (4-5 direct reports)
- Provide regular mentoring and coaching opportunities
- Assist the Executive Management team in providing leadership and direction to the Company.
- Liaising with business leaders to provide operational plans to deliver on strategy, mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities.
- Manage the delivery of workforce planning, forecasting, recruitment and on boarding
- Manage, lead and ensure compliance of company industrial relations and strategies
- Support the learning and development function as a part of the broader HR strategy and framework
- Lead employee engagement and company culture programs and initiatives
- Lead and manage HR reporting requirements
- Coordinate Australian (and as required) international HR governance including company policies, procedures and programs
- Oversee and coordinate company performance review process
- Supporting and coaching business leaders
- Administer remuneration and benefits programs, including conducting analysis and serving as primary contact with relevant providers
- Coordinate the HR governance framework both in Australia and as required internationally
- Manage daily HR operations, business planning and HR strategies
- Manage and continuously improve the HR system framework and HRIS systems
- Plan, direct and assist in the supervision of activities relating to company payroll
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate must have the following:
- Degree or qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- Experience in leading a small and high performing team (including covering the Payroll function)
- Strong IR knowledge and experience
- Ideally experience in the Mining sector
