Key responsibilities include managing cloud and on-premises environments, optimizing network performance, ensuring system security and compliance, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.

Job Description

  • Administer, implement, configure, and maintain infrastructure hardware and software components.
  • Perform maintenance patching and hardening activities as required.
  • Identify and remediate Cyber related issues and vulnerabilities relating to any Infrastructure components.
  • Converged Infrastructure implementation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Storage hardware implementation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Design, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions and components based on the needs of the Technology department, wider APRA organisation and best practices.
  • Secure administration (and the implementation of it).
  • Firewall administration.
  • Delivery of projects, both working autonomously and part of a larger group.
  • Create, update, and maintain documentation for the Infrastructure solutions as they evolve.
  • Interstate travel to branch office for maintenance and auditing purposes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Extensive knowledge of the latest software and hardware systems, including HPE hardware and virtualised/cloud environments.
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems (including Group Policy, Windows Active Directory, DNS, and ADFS).
  • Linux Operating Systems.
  • VMware virtualisation stack (vCenter, SRM, Lifecycle Manager, and ESX).
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud.
  • Anti-virus tools and solutions.



Proven experience in utilising enterprise patch management systems to maintain secure and up-to-date environments.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical excellence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in complex IT infrastructures.
