Job Description

  • Develop and implement a robust information security program.
  • Lead the technology team in maintaining and improving information security measures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external information security standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate response to information security incidents.
  • Promote a culture of information security awareness within the organisation.
  • Regularly review and update information security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular information security training and awareness sessions.
  • Report regularly on the status of information security to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Information Security Officer should have:

  • A current valid drivers licence to attend various sites and locations as required
  • Working with children's check or ability to obtain
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance or ability to obtain
  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in Information Security (CISM, CISSP, or similar).
  • Proven experience in managing information security in a complex organisation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Platforms
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to promote a culture of security awareness.
  • Excellent understanding of information security principles and best practices.
