About Our Client
Our client is an industry leader in design and engineering space, and is expecting significant growth into 2017. This is an exciting opportunity for an IR specialist to join the team on a contract basis.
Reporting to the HR Manager you will provide advice and support to the organisation on all industrial relations matters. You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Providing guidance around performance issues, disputes with unions and compliance with employment legislation.
- Leading EBA negotiations, including facilitating meetings.
- Representing the organisation at Fair Work.
- Conduct research and develop best practice workplace relations policies.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally from a complex unionised environment or a legal background you will be a highly accomplished IR professional. With sound judgement and first class communication skills you be able to influence, coach and inspire confidence at all levels. Equally your sound commercial acumen and planning skills will allow you to be able to drive change and deliver key outcomes that will mitigate the overall risk to the company.
