IT Business Development Manager

About Our Client
Our client is a Sydney-based ICT company having established a 10+ year reputation of delivering managed IT services and analytic solutions to business clients in Australia.
As the BDM, you will be responsible for developing a business growth strategy to perform the following key responsibilities:
- Develop and grow the client base by meeting and exceeding sales and revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities to promote our client's products and services i.e. Fixed, Mobile, Data & IT.
- Client engagement to manage business retention and new business acquisition e.g. cold calling, client meetings, networking, stakeholder negotiations
- Time management for performing pre-sale activities e.g. preparation of sales contracts/tender submission, product demo, and other sales collaterals
- Management of post-sale processes e.g. contract implementation, tracking bill to book/invoices/revenue against targets, after sales follow ups and support
- Account management i.e. pipeline forecasting/management, win/loss reporting and other portfolio financial reporting as required
- Coaching and supporting sales staff
- Maintaining long term client relationship
The Successful Applicant
To be successful, you will be required to demonstrate:
- An established record of industry clients
- A track record of successfully developing a growth strategy for selling similar ICT Products & Services i.e. meeting and exceeding sales and revenue targets
- Strong business acumen that is reflected in sound written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced negotiation skill
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels
- Tertiary qualifications in either Business Development, Economics, Finance or Marketing
