Job Description

  • Oversee and manage the organisation's IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Develop and implement technology strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure the security and efficiency of IT systems and data.
  • Lead and mentor the IT team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimise cost and service.
  • Monitor system performance and address any issues or risks proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Manager should have:

  • A relevant qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT management within the energy and natural resources industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and security protocols.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in vendor management and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
