About Our Client
Our client is an Australian Government branch, looking for individuals to join the Business Services Division. The purpose of the IT Technician is to preform IT system maintenance and to support staff, facilitators, and participants with technology related requests.
Job Description
The successful individual with be responsible for:
- Ensure the most appropriate and effective use of technology takes place in all learning spaces and working environments, together with virtual course delivery.
- Support staff and facilitators of all professional learning to understand how to best use IT technology.
- Advise, lead and implement technology enhancements to improve access to and experience of professional learning events.
- Ensure that the appropriate level of analysis is undertaken for a procurement activity and that the appropriate level of approval is sought.
- Daily maintenance of ICT equipment onsite at all locations, including maximising site use of equipment during maintenance or improvement projects.
- Maintaining and improving IT Infrastructure including Networks & Servers.
- Ensure project objectives are met by anticipating and managing potential and emerging issues.
The Successful Applicant
The successful individual will ideally possess the following:
- Demonstrated expertise in IT technology, implementation and AV infrastructure systems.
- Sound knowledge of Adobe Premiere and other AV-related software products.
- Experience with cisco networking, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Microsoft VPN and pfSense.
- Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills.
