Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports for funds under management.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of investment portfolios and related accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the month-end and year-end financial close processes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address queries and provide information.
  • Monitor and report on fund performance metrics and investment activities.
  • Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements within the accounting function.
  • Assist in audits and ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Junior Fund Accountant / Investment Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and investment accounting practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to tasks and the ability to work well in a team environment.
