My clients Canberra office is offering an exclusive opportunity for a Junior Lawyer to join their growing general insurance practice with the current emphasis on CTP insurance matters. Looking for a lawyer with 1 year post admission experience.
This role will encompass acting on behalf of up to six major CTP insurers on highly complex matters, including providing advice and representation in relation to litigated and unlitigated claims. In addition you will have the opportunity to advise clients in relation to impending new legislation, as well as a range of complex policy and indemnity issues. Furthermore, you will be expected to provide mentor-ship and advice to junior lawyers and act both autonomously and collaboratively with your colleagues on your files.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you will be a strong and confident litigator with proven dispute resolution experience. You will uphold exceptional communication and drafting skills, maintain a controlled and well organised approach to your matters and hold good academics.
