About Our Client
This business is a leading Australian packaging company supplying diverse steel and plastic packaging solutions to blue chip and corporate clients across Australia. The business aims to deliver the most innovative packaging solutions available to their clients and maintain their high standard of customer service. They are a passionate and ambitious company looking for a driven Key Account Manager.
You will be working as part of an established business, selling diverse packaging solutions to food, beverage and consumer goods manufactures. Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing key national clients from a local perspective, as well as sourcing new opportunities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring that you are effectively servicing your client base whilst maintaining a profitable account portfolio.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful you will have:
- A proven background of sales success in a technical sales environment
- Experience working as a supplier to manufacturing clients
- Strong account management skills
- Ability to forecast production effectively
- Experience within the packaging industry is preferred but is not essential
