About Our Client
Our client is a multinational Pharmaceutical and Consumer Health organisation with a highly specialised but varied product focus. They have a host of key divisions within their teams and have a fantastic reputation in the market. They pride themselves on offering career advancement and developing their people internally. Their products are first in class and they are constantly developing and researching new therapies and medical products.
The role is newly created due to an internal move and is an extremely important position within the Vision Care business. The role is based in Sydney but will be covering major Key Accounts Nationally. There is a select group of key accounts in the region including the likes of Specsavers, OPSM etc. You will work as part of the broader Vision care business unit and report into the Head of Sales. Given the location of Key Accounts you will be expected to travel regularly but bulk of travel with will to Victoria and for very short stints so very manageable.
The Successful Applicant
Given the nature of this role, you will have strong KAM experience and ideally at a national level. We see this KAM coming from the following:
- Vision Care/ Optical/ Ophthalmic arena (Preference)
- Generics/ Pharmaceutical
- FMCG (open to this area but would need to be impressive having managed key accounts nationally)
The successful person must have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience and have proven results within their field. Ideally you will be degree qualified but not a strict must have
On top of the above you will need to be highly strategic and be able to 'think outside of the box'.
