A Global Leader in the Mining industry
The IT Lead Business Analyst will be required to lead planning, analysis and delivery activities for various IT service management initiatives, with the functions and technology of the ServiceNow platform at the core of the work. We are looking for someone with strong ServiceNow experience especially with the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Please not that this is not the role for someone who does not have experience working with ServiceNow, we need someone who is familiar with data cleansing activities within the CMDB.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience in delivering and/or supporting the ServiceNow service management platform, with a good understanding of the functionality of the system, especially within CMDB
4 - 6 years of business analysis experience, including high level requirements gathering, high level solutioning and IT estimating/costing. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
IT service management experience across a range of functions, such as Demand Management, Change Management, Incident Management and Request Fulfilment
3+ years project management experience (small to medium level projects), with a strong ability to plan and manage scope, schedule, cost and resourcing, as well as a strong ability to track dependencies, milestones, risks and issues. Experience in Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches and experience in tracking cost and schedule through earned value/s-curve measurements.
Examples of when you have had to lead under pressure, including maintaining focus on priority areas and giving clear directions to teams, both internal and external, including vendors.
Strong engagement skills, including verbal and written skills, with business and IT leads and SMEs for requirements gathering, design reviews and user acceptance testing.
Ability to manage vendor implementation partners providing technical solutions, including alignment on scope of services and ensuring adherence to agreed scope, schedule, cost and resourcing.
Ability to report status to IT leadership and steering committees, using clear business and IT terminology and a focus on key discussion and decision points
