About Our Client

My client operates within the animal nutrition industry, producing a variety of feeds and supplements designed to improve the well-being and productivity of livestock based in Laverton.

Job Description

The Logistics and Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Communication with all third party domestic freight carriers & negotiate freight rates
  • Organising third party transport of goods to customers
  • Coordinate all internal stock transfers including freight & ensure accurately recorded
  • Negotiate import supply chain rates
  • Manage import and export supply chain with assistance from Administration Officer
  • Manage truck driver inductions at both sites

The Successful Applicant

The Logistics and Supply Chain Manager will have:

  • Strong understanding of transport networks
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Import/ Export experience
  • Motivation to drive processes
