As the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for leading all warehousing and distribution activities for this organisation. You will be responsible for working closely with the customer base, developing relationships and wider opportunities whilst also adding structure and process to the operations. You will implement forward planning activities, relevant key performance measures, and personal development of your team, while taking responsibility for the profit and loss of your business unit.
The Successful Applicant
You will be an experienced logistics professional, able to demonstrate strong logistics leadership and best practice understanding ideally from within the 3PL space. You will be comfortable managing experienced teams and driving change at a pace within a growing and evolving business. It will be expected that you will have had exposure to customised product sortation activities within a containerised freight environment, and experience in operating within Australian quarantine guidelines.
