Job Description
- Conducting all Machine Safety Risk Assessments.
- In depth knowledge of Safety Requirements Specifications (SRS) and Safety Control System Design.
- Handling Safety System Verification and Validation.
- Experience with development of safety life cycle documentation, such as hardware and software requirements and design specifications, and test documentation.
- Experience with probabilistic calculations, gathering and application of failure rate data.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team.
- A focus on quality and performance and a keen eye for detail.
- In depth knowledge of Australian and international standards, including AS 4024.1 series.
- Strong technical knowledge of automation and control, or process and safety.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree Qualification in Engineering or similar field
- Minimum of 3 + Years Engineering experience in Machine Safety.
- TUV Certified in Certified Machinery Safety Expert or Functional Safety Expert.
- In depth knowledge of Australian and international standards, including AS 4024.1 series.
