Job Description

Conducting all Machine Safety Risk Assessments.
In depth knowledge of Safety Requirements Specifications (SRS) and Safety Control System Design.
Handling Safety System Verification and Validation.
Experience with development of safety life cycle documentation, such as hardware and software requirements and design specifications, and test documentation.
Experience with probabilistic calculations, gathering and application of failure rate data.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team.
A focus on quality and performance and a keen eye for detail.
In depth knowledge of Australian and international standards, including AS 4024.1 series.
Strong technical knowledge of automation and control, or process and safety.

The Successful Applicant

Degree Qualification in Engineering or similar field
Minimum of 3 + Years Engineering experience in Machine Safety.
TUV Certified in Certified Machinery Safety Expert or Functional Safety Expert.

In depth knowledge of Australian and international standards, including AS 4024.1 series.
