About Our Client
Our client is a large local government with the need to increase their team. Providing a stable place to work and a friendly and supportive team, this is an interesting permanent role with reach across all departments.
As part of a sizeable finance team, this role is responsible for management accounting tasks including building long term financial projections. With responsibility for production of the full management reporting pack, you will build relationships with stakeholders across the council, consulting on spend and budget and report building will form the core of the role. This role is responsible for formation of budgets and forecasts with up to 10 year projections. You will also analyse variances and investigate discrepancies so an eye for detail is required.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be a management accounting professional with a track record of report creation, budget preparation and variance analysis. You will be a strong team player but also enjoy working autonomously. Deadline driven, you will have attention to detail and produce reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
