Job Description

  • Oversee all financial reporting and analysis for the manufacturing sites located in Wollert and Dandenong.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor and manage the plant's budget, including cost control and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to optimise financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Lead and mentor junior accounting staff within the plant.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CA (or working towards one).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and financial reporting processes effectively.
