Job Description

  • Prepare and manage monthly financial reports and budgets.
  • Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance and key metrics.
  • Assist in forecasting and cost analysis processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes.
  • Support audits and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for financial improvement and cost savings.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional membership or working towards a CPA or CA qualification.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Previous experience in the Energy & Natural Resources industry is advantageous.
