Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial processes, including reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to manage financial data effectively.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement financial controls.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit materials and liaise with external auditors.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
  • Experience in the not-for-profit industry is highly regarded.
