Job Description

Key accountabilities include:

  • Providing expert advice and contributing to the IT strategic direction
  • Developing and executing long-term infrastructure strategies
  • Managing Service Desk activities and managing hardware and software assets
  • Managing the organisations server and network infrastructure
  • Providing high-quality end user experience through effective SOE
  • Ensuring the continued availability of IT services
  • Assuming full accountability for IT security posture
  • Leading the design and execution of IT operational policies and frameworks
  • Establishing strategic vendor partnerships



You will have x2 direct reports in this role.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role managing IT operations, including IT Support/Infrastructure teams
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake all activities within the infrastructure lifecycle
  • Experience implementing contemporary IT operational strategies, concepts and practices
  • Significant experience in Microsoft technologies: AD/AAD/Entra, Group Policy, Exchange, Office 365 and Azure
  • Experience building a strong service culture, developing individuals and leading distributed teams
  • Understanding of cyber security principles and best practices
