Job Description
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, your purpose is to lead and manage the Customer Management (Sales) function for a defined group of key categories (Meat, Deli, Free Range, Small-goods & Freezer) within a major retail account, ensuring that sales, volume, revenue and budget objectives are achieved.
The objectives are achieved by:Customer Management:
- Develop and maintain outstanding relationships with major retail key Category Managers
- Develop strong working relationships with key customer contacts to build and agree on joint business plans
People Management:
- Provide inspired leadership and management of direct reports; ensuring their on-going development
- Partner with the National Sales Manager to drive empowerment and ownership within the customer team
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for the role you will have extensive experience in Sales & Account Management ideally managing the relationship with a major retailer in Australia. You will have experience in relevant retail channels primarily focused on food and fresh produce.
A key component of this role will be the ability to create a vision, motivate and empower a sales team.
