This role will report into the CEO.

Job Description

Due to exciting opportunity across Australia, there is now an opportunity for an experienced National Sales Manager to develop and grow new business. You will be responsible for the following:

  • Working with the CEO, develop 3 new owned and operated dealerships in Australia in the first 12 months
  • Assist with the recruitment of dealer principles and sales representatives to build a successful Sales team across the business
  • Working with the CEO, develop a business plan and sales strategy to ensure achievement of sales goals and profitability.
  • Manage, mentor, and lead new Dealer Principles to ensure sales targets are achieved
  • Manage and lead the existing dealer's network to achieve the company sales budget, making proposals for improvements
  • Manage the dealer networks to ensure the sales budget is achieved and in keeping with the dealer agreements for RV products, spare parts, service, and floor plan financing. Ensure the brand is well represented throughout the respective dealerships, maintaining a direct Sales Manager role over Vic, NSW, Qld, SA, WA, Tas & NZ.
  • In conjunction with CEO & Dealer Principles, develop a national business plan and sales strategy to ensure the company sales targets and financial performance by way of turnover and net margin, aligns with the budget forecast and business plan

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualifications in a Business degree or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Must have experience within a Sales leadership role within the RV or Automotive Industry
  • Experience in developing an owned and operated Dealership network
  • Must have experience in the recruitment of Sales teams, namely identifying and recruiting dealer principles and sales representatives to building a successful sales team
  • Highly focused, self-motivated and professional, exercising discretion and confidentiality where appropriate
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills - comfortable with reporting to an Executive Team and Board
