Operating across 10 industrial sites and with over 500 engineers in operation SCM Group offer industry leading customer service to their clients internationally.
Reporting directly to the CEO the National Service Manager will have direct reports consisting of service technicians and operation supervisors.
The National Service Manager will be responsible for the management of SCM's major clients across Australia. This will include the organisation and management of large scale installation and maintenance projects through the coordination and supervision of service staff and operations coordinators.
This role will also involve the management of SCM's technicians to ensure superior customer service and to minimise equipment downtime.
On the client facing side the National Service Manager will be responsible for maintaining healthy and mutually beneficial business relationships whilst ensuring repeat business through client interaction by exceeding client expectations.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have;
- + 5 years implementing cultural change in multi-national companies
- Background in operations management ideally within an OEM business
- + 5 years in a hands on technical equipment servicing role
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent trade qualifications / experience
- Excellent people management skills with + 5 years' experience managing multi - cultural and multi discipline teams.
- Ability to speak Italian would be highly regarded
