Job Description

  • Provide hands-on support for network systems and infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise disruptions.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of network security measures.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise system performance.
  • Document processes, procedures, and network configurations.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies in the Technology & Telecoms industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Network Support Specialist should have:

  • 3 years' experience in a NOC or network support role, ideally within telecommunications.
  • Permanenet Australian Work Rights - No restrictions (due to sensitive information).
  • Experience with network monitoring and ticketing systems.
  • CCNA or JNCIA or equivalent networking experience.
  • ITIL certified or familiarity with ITIL framework and Incident and Change Management processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, particularly during major incidents.
  • Strong team orientation with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
