Job Description

  • Lead and manage product development projects from concept to launch within the high risk food industry.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and production.
  • Ensure all product development processes align with industry standards and company objectives.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities to drive innovation and competitiveness.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the product development team.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior NPD Project Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in product development within the food industry.
  • Educational qualifications in Food Science or a related field.
  • Strong people leadership (managing a team of 3) and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Deep understanding of product lifecycle and market trends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on innovation and quality.
