They are now seeking an Operations Director that align with these values to join their executive leadership team.
As the Operations Director, you will report directly into the Managing Director and strategically manage the operations function within Australia and New Zealand (Region Pacific).
The organisation is seeking a person that can ensure continuity in the performance of all production and logistics activities e.g. assembly, logistics, material planning and purchasing and supply chain to maximise delivery to customers in full and on time. You will provide leadership to the operations function, clearly communicating goals and objectives whilst driving a lean and continuous improvement.culture..
Strong Stakeholder engagement and communication is paramount to the success of this role. Working closely with the leadership team and the wider business, the appointed person will deliver operational excellence across all aspects of their portfolio.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have a strong operations background and notable track record of change and system improvement within an organisation that has manufacturing, warehousing and distribution functions.
- 10+ years in a similar level position
- Experience in an organisation with assembly and warehouse/distribution operations (multi-site experience well regarded)
- Engineering or other relevant degree or comparable industry experience
- Commercial leader with change management experience
- Hands-on approach that can demonstrate natural and authentic people leadership skills
