Job Description

  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations across engineering and manufacturing functions, ensuring safe, efficient and consistent execution.
  • Provide strong HSE and compliance leadership, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, company standards and Zero Harm expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity and quality outcomes.
  • Lead, coach and mentor teams to build capability, accountability and high performance.
  • Manage and optimise budgets, resources and operational timelines to meet business objectives.
  • Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to strengthen processes and support broader business strategy.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support operational success.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operations Manager ANZ should have:

  • Proven Operations Manager or senior operational leader within engineering or manufacturing environments
  • Strong background in production operations (industrial components, pneumatics, hydraulics, machinery or similar)
  • Demonstrated success leading safety initiatives, beyond compliance oversight
  • Experience leading award‑based teams and front‑line leaders
  • Track record of driving operational change and process improvement
  • Strong data capability, including Excel and dashboard/reporting tools
  • ERP exposure advantageous (JDE and/or SAP)
  • Practical, clear communicator who can engage teams and senior stakeholders
