About Our Client

My client is part of a global group and operates in the Retail/Wholesale space. Having had a large amount of success during 2020, and with some exciting system improvements currently on-going, a role has come up which will be an initial 6 month contract. The part-time position will oversee AP and AR and have responsibility for reporting, working closely with commercial finance and the MD.

Job Description

This role will be responsible for:

  • Month end reporting, including journal postings and reconciliations
  • Preparation of month end financial reports
  • Management reporting, cash-flow analysis and reporting
  • Budgeting and ad-hoc analysis and reporting
  • Oversight of AP and AR and ensure deadlines are met

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role you will match the below criteria:

  • Immediately available
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Experience in a hands on, Senior Accounting or Finance Manager role previously
  • Experience in manufacturing/Retail or Wholesale will be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multitude of stakeholders
