Job Description

The Partnership Manager role involves:

  • Engaging and developing relationships with financial services partners, guiding them through product vision, implementation, and tactical execution.
  • Identifying and screening potential strategic partners to align with business goals and objectives.
  • Developing and implementing impactful marketing programs in collaboration with partners.
  • Negotiating and securing commercial agreements with strategic partners.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business operations, legal, product, project management, and marketing.
  • Drive business case development, partner onboarding, and program implementation.
  • Formulate and execute strategic and partner-specific plans to achieve business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with partners to launch new features, optimise payment programs, or onboard new partners.
  • Ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives across internal and external stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Partnership Manager should have:

  • Experience in business development, relationship management, or partnership roles.
  • Background in payments, including payment processing, payment networks, mobile payments, mobile commerce, or the NFC ecosystem and applications.
  • Experience with APIs and integrations, including working with technical teams to implement solutions.
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage ambiguity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience influencing and driving consensus across cross-functional teams at all levels of an organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate opportunities from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives and implement performance tracking and analysis.
  • A positive, collaborative approach with a proven ability to set and achieve outstanding outcomes.
