Our client is looking to dedicate significant resources into building out a 'best-in-class' payroll function and hence are looking to bring in a strategic leader to champion process improvement and change management initiatives over the coming years.Job DescriptionOversee the timely and accurate processing of payrollChampion process improvement / change management initiativesEnsure strong process documentation is in place to 'future-proof' the payroll functionWork effectively with senior stakeholders to ensure excellent cross-functional relationship between payroll, finance and HR teamsProcess month and year-end, issue Income Statements, calculate and lodge Payroll Tax and Super, and calculate WorkCoverEnsure data quality is to a high standard and data is optimised to support client visibility and decision-making via reports and dashboardsEnsure compliance with all relevant requirements including legislative requirementsProvide an escalation point to the Payroll Team for complex pay queriesCoach and develop payroll teamThe Successful ApplicantWe are seeking experienced payroll leaders who have a passion for process improvement and change management.
