As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join their high-performing team. This role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in streamlining the finance function while contributing to the company's ongoing success and innovation.

Job Description

Reporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Process and administer payroll for employees across multiple pay cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including changes to salary, benefits, deductions, and other payroll-related adjustments
  • Prepare and submit all required payroll reports, including PAYG, superannuation, and leave accruals.
  • Liaise with internal departments such as HR and Finance to ensure accurate data flow and resolve payroll discrepancies
  • Process and manage employee leave, terminations, and final pay calculations.
  • Stay updated with legislative changes, and best practices to ensure payroll systems and processes remain compliant
  • Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries, providing excellent customer service and support

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in an end-to-end payroll position within the technology or telecommunications industry. They should be highly adaptable and be proficient in payroll software system. Additionally, strong problem-solving skills excellent communication skills, initiative, and reliability will be essential for success in this role.
