Job Description

  • Process high volume end-to-end payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Handle payroll queries and provide timely resolutions to employee concerns.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports for management.
  • Support the finance team in month-end and year-end reporting related to payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with taxation and superannuation requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for payroll efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to manage employee data accurately.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Officer should have:

  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
