This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll professional to join a growing, ASX-listed organisation based in Brisbane. You will be responsible in proving timely and accurate payroll services, supporting operational leaders and employees.

Job Description

  • Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Handle payroll-related queries and provide timely resolutions.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper calculation and remittance of superannuation, taxes, and other statutory obligations.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Support audits by providing necessary payroll data and documentation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally either in a standalone position or in a small team.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation , awards, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with wider teams.
