Our client is a leader within the aged care sector, dedicated to delivering essential services to its clients. They provide tailored disability support to Australians at home and in the community.

Job Description

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll - approx. 2,000 employees
  • Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation and award agreements
  • Maintain and update payroll records with a high level of accuracy
  • Respond to payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department on payroll reconciliations
  • Support the implementation of process improvements in payroll operations
  • Assist in audits related to payroll functions
  • Lead the team: 2 direct reports

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of end-to-end payroll experience
  • Previous experience in payroll leadership
  • Industry experience a bonus (not essential)
  • Proficiency in payroll software- ideally Tech One
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data integrity
  • Available immediately or within short notice
