Job Description

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters to managers and staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build trust and maintain productive relationships.
  • Conduct investigations into workplace concerns and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Deliver training and support to leaders on employee relations topics.

The Successful Applicant

A successful People and Culture - Employee Relations Business Partner should have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Previously experience in healthcare or a highly unionised environment is mandatory
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee relations within the public sector or a similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and workplace policies.
  • Proven ability to manage complex workplace issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
