We are seeking a Planning & Environment Lawyer to provide high-quality legal advice and support across planning, environment, and regulatory matters. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse legal issues, including statutory referrals, litigation, and regulatory compliance, while contributing to strategic business initiatives.

Job Description

  • Provide legal advice on planning and environmental matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and statutory notices.
  • Represent the organisation in negotiations, mediations, and hearings related to planning and environmental issues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage legal risks effectively.
  • Conduct legal research to support the organisation's operations and decision-making processes.
  • Advise on land use, environmental policies, and planning schemes.
  • Assist in the resolution of disputes and provide support for litigation matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes impacting the industrial and manufacturing sector.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Planning & Environment Lawyer should have:

  • Qualifications in Law and admission to practice in Australia.
  • Proven expertise in planning and environmental law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing legal matters.
